1. Who we are
leanbbiome.com ("we", "us", "this site") is an independent affiliate publisher reviewing LeanBiome® and related gut health topics. We are not the manufacturer or the retailer of any product described here. For privacy questions, contact us at the address in section 12.
2. Information we collect
We keep data collection to what the site actually needs to function and improve.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, browser, and operating system.
- Technical data. IP address, server log entries, and error reports generated automatically by our hosting provider.
- Affiliate click data. When you click an outbound link to the vendor, an identifier is passed so the sale can be attributed to this site.
- Information you send us. If you email us, we hold your message and address for as long as it takes to answer you.
We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, health records, or any special category data. Please do not send us medical information by email.
3. How we use it
- To operate the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults.
- To understand which content readers find useful, in aggregate.
- To attribute qualifying purchases and receive the commission we disclose openly.
- To reply to correspondence you begin.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use them, and permit some third parties to use them, for the following purposes.
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to load and function. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Aggregate measurement of traffic and content performance.
- Affiliate tracking. Set by ClickBank when you follow an outbound link, so a purchase can be credited to this site. These typically persist for a limited attribution window.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not stop you reading this site, though it may prevent a purchase being attributed to us, which costs us rather than you.
5. Third parties
The following processors may receive data as a result of your visit, each under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.
- ClickBank (Click Sales Inc.) — the retailer processing any purchase you make.
- Lean for Good® — the manufacturer fulfilling your order.
- Our web host and CDN — serving this site's files and logging requests.
- Analytics providers — measuring aggregate site usage.
Once you leave this site by clicking an outbound link, this policy no longer applies. What happens next is governed by the privacy policy of the site you land on.
6. Legal bases (UK and EEA visitors)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for security, aggregate analytics, and running an affiliate business; on consent for non-essential cookies; and on legal obligation where a law requires us to retain records.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent you previously gave. California residents additionally have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA and CPRA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Exercising any right will never cause us to treat you differently.
To exercise a right, email us using the address in section 12. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law sets, and we may need to verify your identity first.
8. Retention
Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then discarded. Aggregate analytics are retained in a form that does not identify individuals. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up.
9. Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and we apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because we never take payment details, the most sensitive data in any transaction never touches our systems.
10. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Contact and changes
Questions, requests, or complaints: Support@LeanforGood.com. We will update this policy when our practices change, and the "last updated" date above will always tell you when. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
